In a move set to reshape the future of AI computing and data center infrastructure, Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Intel Corporation
(NASDAQ: INTC) have announced a multi-generational collaboration to co-develop custom CPUs, GPUs, and system-on-chips (SoCs)
targeting data center, hyperscale, enterprise, and consumer markets.
The partnership aims to merge Nvidia’s AI and accelerated computing expertise with Intel’s x86 CPU architecture and advanced
manufacturing capabilities, creating next-generation computing platforms capable of handling increasingly complex AI workloads.
Under the agreement, Intel will manufacture Nvidia-custom x86 CPUs for data center applications, which will be integrated into
Nvidia’s AI infrastructure platforms and offered to enterprise customers worldwide.
For the personal computing segment, Intel will produce x86 system-on-chips (SoCs) that combine Nvidia RTX GPU chiplets with
Intel’s CPU cores, delivering high-performance solutions for PCs that require seamless CPU-GPU integration.
To solidify the partnership, Nvidia will invest $5 billion in Intel common stock at a price of $23.28 per share, subject to
regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The move signals Nvidia’s confidence in Intel’s technology and
manufacturing roadmap while aligning both companies toward a shared AI-driven future.
Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang called the alliance a “historic opportunity” to bring together Nvidia’s AI and accelerated

Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan emphasized that Intel’s data center and client computing platforms, combined with its manufacturing and

The companies plan to integrate these custom CPUs and SoCs into systems specifically designed for AI, machine learning, and
